Is there a blind parent that has raised a child on this? What techniques did you use to keep them safe, etc. I use a harness right now and that is OK for his age (1 & 1/2), but what about when older. What did you say or what tips do you have that could help with this process? Thank you.
Right now I just carry him. But I guess that if you're going to the car, then you'll always be with someone...unless you drive--and I'm guessing that you don't. ;-)
Yeah, we use a harness as well, but I always enforce that Jack holds my hand, always, so that he is totally used to always hanging on. It is working for now, anyway! There are certain places we go in town where is free to run (enclosed areas) but once on the sidewalk or street, he is just totally used to holding my hand.
