We've really found that when travelling by airlines that when we ask for help, 95% of the time everyone is GREAT! They help with everything from working the security lines to preboarding and getting on shuttle buses. After we had a our son, we really had to make sure we did this, and people always respond great. I think unless you intentionally give people permission to help, they seem a little reluctant or they fear being insulting, etc. So the best thing is for us it is to ask! Meet a lot of nice folks this way, too! KJ
